We all love to place those Christmas ornaments on the tree each year, and if you make it a family affair as we do it can really set the tone with Christmas spirit for the upcoming holiday season. It is really nice to include a personalized family Christmas ornament on the tree, it increases and unites your family holiday spirit. It also makes a great gift for Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa.

Making Christmas card placemats is really a simple process and is an inexpensive fun craft to make. If you still have the cards you received last year and don’t mind cutting them up this is a great way to put them to use, if not there are many places you can find inexpensive Christmas cards.
Start off with a piece of poster board and cut it to the size you want the placemat to be, 17 inches by 12 inches seems to work good but you can use whatever size works for you. Next cut off the front of some Christmas cards and glue them to the poster board in whatever design you like. After letting them dry you can either laminate it or apply contact paper. Now trim any edges that need to be trimmed and you’re done.
