  • Christmas Card Placemat Craft

    August 22nd, 2008

Making Christmas card placemats is really a simple process and is an inexpensive fun craft to make. If you still have the cards you received last year and don’t mind cutting them up this is a great way to put them to use, if not there are many places you can find inexpensive Christmas cards.

Start off with a piece of poster board and cut it to the size you want the placemat to be, 17 inches by 12 inches seems to work good but you can use whatever size works for you. Next cut off the front of some Christmas cards and glue them to the poster board in whatever design you like. After letting them dry you can either laminate it or apply contact paper. Now trim any edges that need to be trimmed and you’re done.
