Make picking the family Christmas tree fun
A big holiday decision is picking the family Christmas tree, and there are many choices. You can go with the plastic choice that artificial tree, which is not my preference but to each his own. But choosing a real tree can really be a fun family affair, gathering everyone up and going out to pick out the tree can be one of the highlights of your Christmas. Going to a farm and cutting your own tree can really be a lot of fun, but if that’s not your cup of tea than the live tree is a really good choice you can plant it in the yard each year and remember Christmas day with each tree, it can be a remembrance of the holiday throughout the whole year. Even just going out and picking out the standard cut Christmas tree is still a lot of family fun and the children really enjoy being part of the process. Regardless of which way you decide to go the important thing is to include the whole family and make it enjoyable filled with holiday spirit.
